Good to know
MP3 is encoded, not copied
Renaming a file to .mp3 doesn’t make it an MP3. This tool encodes the video’s sound into MP3, a compressed audio format, so the result can’t sound better than the original recording.
Local files only
The converter works with video files on your device: MP4, MOV and WebM, up to 10 files and 500 MB combined on desktop, or 150 MB on mobile. It does not download from YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or other links.

Can I convert a YouTube link to MP3?
No. MuteVideo only works with video files already on your device; it does not download videos from links.
Will the MP3 sound better than the video?
No. Encoding can’t add detail that wasn’t in the recording.
Can I convert several videos at once?
Yes, up to 10 files with a combined size of 500 MB on desktop or 150 MB on mobile.
